The End.

I can't believe that school is almost over. It's a nice feeling... too bad I still have two years left, but still, one more semester down is definitely a plus. And besides, in the fall, I'll be in classes that are only for my major which is pretty sweet. No more GE's!! Wahooo! Its going to be fabulous! I can't wait for spring and summer semesters. I'm going to be nannying the director of the preschool's son in the morning for spring semester and working in the preschool in the mornings during summer semester, and then working at BYU independent study for the afternoon. It's a pretty great schedule I'm really excited to start doing it and not have to come home and do homework. It's going to be great!

So Thursday is Levi's birthday, he's turning 23. Sounds really old to me, but it'll be fun. We're going to Cheesecake Factory (I am craving avocado eggrolls right now). If you haven't ever been there, you do not know what you're missing. Seriously the most delicious thing in the whole world. Siggh, I'm hungry. But anyways, then we're going to get massages on Friday, something I am also really excited about. I like how I plan all this stuff for his birthday, but I secretly plan them for me too. =) haha but we're going to have icecream cake and pizza on Saturday, so if you would like to come, you should!!

I have also decided that it is baby making time around Provo right now. It seems like all of our friends are pregnant and due around November. It's hitting Levi really hard right now, he keeps asking when we can have a kid. For some reason, I have remained unaffected, until I see a really cute child. But here's my thing: I really want my having a baby to be a big deal, not something that is just one of the 20,000 that is happening in our ward. I might decide that it is important to me someday soon, but I'm going to need to be very very prompted because until then, I am not making any baby plans. I think that playing with the kids in the preschool really helps get my kid need out. I can love them, play with them, and they can drive me crazy, and then I give them back to their parents at the end of the 4 hours. I think its a perfect plan. =) We'll see how this whole situation works out in a bit.

So, we are officially going on our first married couple vacation at the end of the semester. We're going to Dana Point, California with some friends of ours. My great uncle (is that your grandma's brother?) lives there and offered us his place while he is in Costa Rica. He lives like 2 blocks from the beach and has a sail boat, and kayaks and stuff like that. I looked up the weather, and its going to be like 80 degrees while we're down there. Can't get much better than that. I am so stoked!! Sigh, I miss the warm weather. This stupid utah weather is killing me!! But oh well.... one week of school left!! woot woot!

Domesticated

Oh man, I am seeing myself actually becoming domestic; cleaning house, making dinner every night, doing laundry; stuff I had decided I wouldn't do until I had kids buuut because preschool is over and I don't have a job I needed something to do. TV just has no appeal anymore, and playing more Wii is out of the question, and I don't have an unlimited supply of money so I can't go buy things like clothes and shoes, which would solve my boredom problems for sure =)) So, I've been making desserts like twice a week at least, breakfast and dinner every night its crazy. Maybe someday soon I will decide that I like cooking... Buuut now, I get to go back to work and make some money which I am pumped about.

So, it's official now! I finally have a job! I'm so excited! The cool thing about it is that it's working in the BYU preschool like I did the first block, planning lessons, playing with the kids outside, eating snack, etc... except now, I get paid for it. Basically the sweetest thing ever. I have been going crazy at home every MWF until 5:30. It's bad.

And, I got an A on my statistics test, which is a pretty big deal, seeing as I got a 75% on the last one. Good thing I have a smart husband who can help me out when I have questions and checks all my homework. I have a pretty sweet deal with this set up.

So we're going to the hunger banquet this weekend at BYU, which I highly recommend everyone go to. It's a lot of fun =) Basically you and your date randomly get assigned to a group and depending on the group that you are in, the food you get is different. The lucky ones get a five course meal sitting at tables all fancy, the next group gets something along the lines of pizza and salad sitting on a chair, and then the majority of people end up getting rice and beans and a tortilla sitting on the floor. It's a really cool experience, and all of the money that we put into it, goes directly to programs helping people get food. It's really great. I think it's like 7 bucks to get in, and if you donate a college text book it goes down to 6 bucks. I'm pretty excited to go, it'll be a surprise to see what we get to eat. =)

Our wedding book is finally being printed! I saw all of the pages the other day and am really really excited to get it now. It's only taken like 7 months... thats ok though, because it'll be worth the wait. Our photographer was fantastic, and part of the package my parents paid for was for this scrapbook like book, except it is hardbound and has hard pages. It's pretty great. It'll be on our coffee table sometime soon so check it out! woot woot!

Blogging?

Well, I never have really been into journal writing, which I consider this to be... however a special friend of mine told me she would love to stalk me and everything that happens in my life, so I must start a blog. So here it is, we have been married about 6 and a half months now, I know, we're moving up in the world; we can now survive anything. Its pretty awesome now though, I love being married. I think being married makes things so much easier-- especially at BYU. You don't have to worry about the whole dating scene, which particularly here is freaking crazy. And, I always have someone to come home to. Annnd also, being married, I can get a pet. Which is about the best thing ever, because I think my cat is pretty dang cool. Her name is Snickers, and we have recently discovered that she doesn't know her tail is attached to her body-- she tends to chase it and bite it incessantly because it moves without her consciously doing it. It might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I'll have to video tape it sometime because I think it would qualify for America's Funniest Home Videos for sure.

So we're not going to Italy now. Which kind of stinks, buut we talked about it with my parents, and found out that our graduation presents would be a trip to Italy, so it makes up for it. It might not be a semester, but it'll be a good chunk of time and a whole lot less expensive, which should be awesome. I'm excited for it. Apparently BYU's study abroad makes you pay for plane tickets within like 3 weeks of being accepted. I don't know how many married couples can come up with $4,000 to pay for tickets in that short amount of time. And also, it takes off a whole lot of pressure getting Levi's permanent residency stuff done on time. So all in all, it stinks that we won't be there for a long time, but we have a guarenteed trip so I think that more than makes up for it. Plus, we now no longer have to crunch for money the next 6 months. coolness.

I have also decided that I kinda like not having a job for the moment, it is very relaxing. I'm sure it will get old sometime soon, but right now I am content to wake up, eat my lucky charms, hang out, play with my cat, maybe do some homework and then go on campus at 12. it's nice.... I'm sure I should find a job sometime though otherwise I might go crazy, but for the moment I am content to live like this.

Speaking of which, I should be getting back to doing statistics, or going to humanities or something fun like that.
