six flags.

we got some season passes to six flags and i have got to say, it's pretty fun. it's like a mini disney land, except no one knows there are kid things to do there, so it might be even better. if only there were disney characters there, zak would be so stoked. he does love himself some characters. and will even willingly take pictures with them. he kept asking to see super heroes... next time we'll have to find some more of those. 

in any case, it's less than an hour away from us, and so awesome for zak. tons of little kid rides, and awesome, animal exploiting shows such as elephants, tigers, dolphins, sea lions etc. i always hate seeing the animals living in such a tiny place forced to do tricks, but they do put on a pretty amazing show. 

our favorite sacramento friends got passes too, to meet us half way and play for the day. 

zak was in heaven, in case you couldn't tell by this picture. this roller coaster was actually pretty scary, he was shaking at the end, but he sucked it up well and kept saying how he wanted to go on more of them. 

this elephant was legit. and super close. and you can pay to ride the elephant! like $10! i'm totally going to do that asap. because when else will i get to ride one?? never. 

greysen lost his clothes halfway through the day, due to a bottle mishap and soaking his shirt. but he's too chill to care. =)

we're excited to take dad back after he's done finals tomorrow to show him the sweetness! yeah for having something awesome to do, almost for free =)
