we participated in our first ever parade last weekend. well besides, me rocking it in marching band in highschool, but that doesn't count.
our mother's club had a fabulous float and we walked down town san bruno throwing candy at eager children stalking the floats. zak was loving riding his bike, even though he was very impatient regarding the pace of the parade.
i was pretty impressed with what our float committee created on such short notice.
in case you were wondering why we look so fabulous, it's because we has just come from church. i feel obligated as the president to be at club functions such as this.
at one point, levi was carring greysen and pushing zak, while i walked by myself. only because he's much nicer than me and slowed down to check out the fire truck behind us.
this was a portion of our walking group, we ended at the park, so a lot of children dispersed rather quickly, but we had quite a few show up! way to represent, woot woot!
we also got a trophy, because we're cool like that. best float in our division say whaaa?
buuut by the end, my children were dying, sooo we left go to take long long naps, and forget that we literally had to drag zak out of the park, as seen in this picture.
p.s. i totally had them all matching, but levi wouldn't put his tie on once we got there. lame.
