tide pooling

yesterday we went tide pooling in half moon bay. i'm glad we chose to do it there, because my mother's club had an outing the day before up past marin, about an hour and half away but i bailed because i didn't want to manage the two beasts together. best decision ever. because that would have been a terrible idea. 1. because ergo-ing greysen while trying to make zak not fall in would have been hard and 2. zak did not like it, which would have made me very angry for driving all that way. 

so, we stayed for about an hour, explored minimal tide pools, and spent the rest of the time scooping sand with the dump truck. thrilling i know.  

however, we can say that we have done it now, and can wait until they are bigger to really delve into it again. 

it was totally gorgeous though, and a fun place to check out, although it was waaaay over crowded with other people trying to soak up the sunny weather.
