chugga.

Last week, my friend sent me this picture saying "I saw this and thought zakary would love it!" 

and I immediately thought, "we would be the coolest parents ever if we took him to this". yes, my self-image is what concerns me when it comes to our children. haha. but in any case, we told him we would be going to the train show if he was soooo good, and he was supppperrrrr stoked. 

it was pretty fun, it made me feel a little bit better about his obsession, that there were a million other kids looking like zak, wearing their train conductor pants and shirts. at least, ours didn't wear his thomas hat/overalls/shoes like some kids, because that would have been a little excessive. 

 for some reason when zak gets super excited about things, he totally shuts down. no smiles, no talking, he just looks around and is very involved in them. it's a little annoying because you want him to be stoked to see all these train things, and he just says "yah" "uh-huh" and doesn't talk to you, which if you know him, you know that never happens. oh, and taking pictures of him was a chore yesterday. 

but this place was sweet. a true train lovers heaven. train tables, model trains, conductors, songs, trains to buy, a ride on thomas. he was in paradise. unfortunately for him, it was very hot, and the rest of his family wanted to go after two hours. 

and of course, greysen just chilled. well, he actually sweated because it was roasting in the events center. he's such a good babes. 

these pictures were the best we got from the whole day, and it was torture getting them. 

greysen on the other hand was loving it. don't mind my weirdo face. 

they're so cute. 

a train whistle, steam train, train magazines and coloring books later, i think this kid should be set for a while. hopefully. you never can tell with almost three year olds. 

oh wait, he's already asking to ride the $50 p/person skunk train from the brochure he found in my purse. never satisfied.
