All is Well.

Well, my last post I was a little irritated. But several hours later, I have paid my freaking expensive health plan, rearranged my classes, and the only one I will have to get an add/drop card for is my technology class so all is well. And on the plus side, I get to quit my job tomorrow!!!

Also, I went to Platos closet today and got this faaabulous pair of jeans.... I then went home and realized that I have gained a few pounds in the last year of being married because some of the pants I bought before we got married no longer fit quite as nicely. Last year, I had over 25 pairs of jeans I had collected through the years, the beginning of this past fall I narrowed it down to about 15ish and tonight I narrowed it down to about 6 pairs. Which is quite depressing in my opinion.

So, this has motivated me to begin working out even though I hate being sweaty and the whole concept of running. But alas, I found an answer to my problem. I found these classes BYU offers at night time to the community for exercise. I am signing up for a water aerobics class, I feel so old saying that... but it solves the whole sweaty problem. It's $44.00 for the whole semester for 3 classes a week! It's super super cheap! I am really excited about it. They offer some other ones like yoga and pilates and step and stuff but this is the one for me! Any one interested? This could be us! =)

Frustration.

So, I found out today that they have too many girls in the morning kindergarten for Fall, so if I want to work there I need to switch all my classes around so I can work in the afternoon. So, I'm sitting here trying to switch them but I can't because my account is on hold because I have not paid my stupid student health insurance yet because I haven't gotten my pell grant. Argh.

And another thing? Why does it seem like all of the Early Childhood classes are at random times so that none of them line up smoothly in a good solid chunk of time? I don't know, but it's extremely annoying. Or, they only offer one section of the class, at night time, with 25 people accepted. Stupid. Levi gets his schedule lined up from 8-1, all in a row, MWF and that's all he has. Stupid biochemistry.

Who needs college anyways?

Secretly Coveting.

Since I do nothing at work all day, I have devoted my time to "browser shopping" instead of "window shopping" and I have found several items that if I had the money for, I would have them in no time.

I'll be honest, I love Coach everything. Back from the days when I didn't have to save my money as much, I bought purses, shoes, and more shoes.... siggh... the sight of them just makes me happy. I know people disagree with buying things for the brand, which I don't necessarily think I do except for certain things, like Uggs or Coach. But I really feel like the ones I like are different from everything else I've seen, so it's not necessarily that they are made from Coach. But without further adeiu here is my "I secretly covet these list" in no specific order:

1.

2. I these!!!

3.
4. I want these so that I can wear them to Canada for winter break, since it's freezing then! And plus, they are shiny. It just adds so much!
5. I have been wanting to find a "sheath" dress like this for ages! I love the pockets in this but it's a little short, I need to find one a little bit longer, but I would love to have one like this to wear to Tashina's wedding.

I don't want to bore you with any more of my wants, especially since many people find the accessories I love repulsive. But I don't care =) 1/2 hour of work left!!

Success.

I went swim suit shopping today and got two swim suits for $25.00 total. One of them was $5.00 at target, and the other one was $20.00 at JCPenny. I already have brown bottoms so I went to find more tops that matched.

This is like the one from Target, except it's brown.

This is the like the one from JCPenny. It has a little bit smaller print. But it's still fabulous. =)

I feel like I had a victory today for buying these for so much less money than I thought I would. I gave myself a limit of $35.00 and I succeeded. I have a hard time finding swim suits that fit, having such a long torso, but these work! Hurrah!

Jobs.

We got our first full time paychecks for the summer this past week and it made me reflect on the jobs that we have. We both have two jobs right now, which is nice because we need variety.

Levi is working at the moving company on campus. Which according to him is a sweet job. He doesn't get paid much, but thanks to this job he has completed several of his Independent Study lessons that he doesn't have time to do at home. A few days out of the week, they call him in at 6:00am, which sucks because then I have to drive him there that early. But then he works from 6-12, well, not actually working... he probably works like 2 hours out of the 6. I got in the car the other day when he picked me up and he was soaking wet because some of the guys from work decided to squirt him with supersoakers while he got out of the car.... Also, he got a 40 cent raise the other day so now he is fork lift and truck driving certified. I know, you should be impressed with how useful my husband is. =) He also works for my dad in the afternoon calling all of his millions of clients and updating their contact info and having them send in some new paperwork. It's not the best job ever, but it's a job and it has gotten Levi out of the fear of talking on the phone, because he used to hate it. But he usually does that from 12:30 to 5:30 and then he starts dinner for us.
As we all know, I work in the kindergarten, make us lunch and then go to Independent Study in the afternoon, which btw I am planning on quitting as soon as summer semester is over, because then I can work full time in the kindergarten prepping for fall and then work there in the fall and hopefully never have to answer phones ever ever again. I am not a phone answering, sit at a desk all day kind of person. I don't know how everyone there works there full time. I think I would go crazy. But anyways, here are some new kindergarten pictures so enjoy!

This is us outside on the "music part" of the playground. We try and see how loud we can be banging the drums and the wind pipes. It's highly entertaining.
And this is my table, the yellow group. We sit with the same kids all year and mine are a lot of fun. The desks are a little hard to sit in though seeing as my legs are about 10 times longer than theirs.

Heat and other things.

It has been so incredibly hot here the last couple days that I am extremely thankful that we have air conditioning. A swamp cooler is just not effective in this heat. We have spent the days at this lovely place called Seven Peaks which is a water park in Provo. We love it and have gotten our money's worth of our season pass. It cost us about $50.00 for the pass to go whenever we want and to just get in one day it's $25.00.... So basically you go twice and you get your money's worth. We love it. Here is a picture of the slides, I got it off the internet so I have no idea who these random kids are.
So, the past couple days we have had this cat sitting on our porch meowing really sadly, wanting to come in. It made me really sad, and I asked Levi if we could keep it but he said no. So, I fed it the one time and took a can of wet cat food out to the grass and gave it to it, because it looked extremely hungry. Levi said I shouldn't do anything with it because now it knows that I'll give it food. Well that's true, it did come back. Plus, I think it can smell Snickers as well. I felt really bad for the kitty. I'm a sucker for stray animals, however it doesn't really look like a stray. It's coat is nice and not all mangled and it's not super skinny. It's also really really friendly like our baby now. I decided that if we keep it I'm going to name it Reeses' so that we can have 2 candybars in the house. Levi's condition on keeping the cat is that we take it to the pound, and if no one claims it or adopts it before they go to euthanize it, we can keep it. I'm not sure if I want another cat, however it would be fun to watch ours play together. But we have yet to catch it. It has a tail like the cat I used to have whose name was Smoochy. Its like a half tail, and big and poofyand it struck a cord in my little heart.
This is what it looks like. Isn't it cute? She was adorable, but I know that we can't get another one. She is precious though.

Weddings.

I have decided that I love weddings. I love the way the groom looks at his now-wife when they first dance. How they are in their own world and could care less if we were actually there. Sometimes the food, not very often. The only problem I have is that I compare it to my own, of which none can compare. It was seriously speaking.... awesome. Props to my mom for planning it out without any help from me besides simple things like the dress, flowers, cake and food.
The photographer helped make our pictures gorgeous too, which was the only thing I cared about.

But we went to my cousin Amy's wedding today which was surprisingly beautiful. Minus the rain clouds that over shadowed us, the gardens were gorgeous and it was pretty nice weather until about noon when I was roasting in my dress.

We went with my cousins who will be moving to Japan in a couple weeks to teach english for a year. I don't know what we are going to do without them. Their kids are adorable, see below.

Before:

After: This was eating the cake. It had black and blue frosting which the boys thoroughly enjoyed.

And this is Dasch. He was grumpy the whole day, but loves getting his picture taken so then he decides to smile for that moment.

Back to the wedding, Amy got married to Trevor today and they were a cute couple. Amy's daughter Fayette was a little grumpy as well but she was adorable.
And last but not least, we had to document this voyage to Lehi, UT and here is my very attractive husband and I. Except for the way this picture is taken it makes my arm look humungous, which I don't think it normally looks like that, but maybe I just don't noticeand I look pregnant as well, which also is not true. But oh well...

No Title

I have decided to make a more conscience effort to blogging now that I have realized the immense amount of people I know that do it. My goal is at least once a week, hopefully twice. I just feel my life is so boring that I have nothing to write about. Or maybe it's the fact that this is the first night I will have been without my husband, so I am bored and have nothing better to do than write on here. It is weird though having an empty house at night time. Snickers is incredibly lonely, she is very much a boy loving cat. I am not good enough for her. I feed her and clean the litter box, but the one she meows for is the one who plays with her, pulls her tail and is somewhat obnoxious to her. Soo typical. Also, she has decided the last several days to shred our toilet paper. I don't know why, but she sits on the sink, and leans over clawing and biting our toilet paper so that it is ridiculous to use. Too bad she's so dang cute.

So, I have decided I love working in the kindergarten. It is so much fun and much better than just watching Ethan. I like having something different to do everyday. I have realized though that I am much better at playing with the boys than the girls that is for sure. We make forts with the blocks, play basketball and catch outside and eat as much snack as possible inside. My boys are the ones who scavenge the other tables for their leftovers. The girls on the other hand, I am at a loss of what to talk about with them besides their clothes, hannah montana, or zac efron. Surprisingly a lot of the boys have seen transformers and other shows along those lines so we have something to talk about all the time. I taught them the word "dominate" a couple of days ago when we were playing catch. Being two feet taller than them and more coordinated led me to "dominating them" which they firmly denied and said they "poned" me. I'm glad I can compete with little 5 year old boys. I'm so cool. These are some of my boys. I took these pics off of our kindergarten blog since I don't have any pictures of them myself.

We also got Netflix this week, and I have become addicted to 30 Rock with Tina Fey. If you haven't seen it, you should watch it. I have watched the whole first season in the past three days. Do it.
And for some reason, my fonts are going crazy, I'm not really sure why they are all different. It's annoying. Anyways.... Good Night!
